PEPE STOP CRISTIANO RONALDO TO CELEBRATE HIS OWN HAT-TRICK [WATCH]


This was almost Cristiano Ronaldo in self-parody mode yesterday.
When the final whistle blew at Espanyol, signalling a 4-1 win for Real Madrid, the 2015 Ballon D’Or was pressed to retrieve the match ball, which he was entitled to having scored a brilliant (and perfect) hat-trick.
Marcelo launched the ball in Ronaldo’s direction, and he caught it earnestly, and looked very satisfied once he had it in his grasp.
But his private hat-trick celebrations didn’t impress Pepe, who approached him and told him to tone it down – considering Real Madrid had just officially lost on the Liga title, Ronaldo’s celebration wasn’t really appropriate.
He took Pepe’s advice on board, and immediately changed his demeanor, remembering to applaud the travelling fans.
