Manchester United are plotting a summer move for Gareth Bale, according to tomorrow’s Telegraph.
The ‘Bale to United’ story has been running all season in truth, and has escalated as the Welshman’s performances have worsened at the Bernabeu.
It’s been a testing second season for Bale at Madrid; having won the hearts of the fans with goals in both the Copa del Rey Final and Champions League final, he was deemed an outright success in his first year in Spain.
But the honeymoon period is decidedly over for Bale, whose cut a forlorn figure at times this season, looking increasingly ill at ease with his surroundings.
